Rusty Savage comes
from a long line of Artists and Storytellers. Some of Rusty’s books are
influenced by his father, Ken, who’s rich recollections and tall tales
of his childhood, are salted and flavored with Rusty's penchant for
character conflict and their quests for resolution.
All of Rusty’s work draws on his extensive travel and
experiences as a wanderer and purveyor of adventures during his youth,
sowing his wild oats in '60's and '70's. Then came family life,
artwork, career, further painting his observations of people groups and
the predicaments those people get into.
Rusty began writing in the '70s, starting with short
story's and features for magazines, He later became an editor and
publisher of several magazines. He started working on his novels in
1992. After years of pursuing traditional publishing routes, Rusty
decided to self publish. At 61 years young he has published 5 Novels
